Here's what it looked like as the snow came down near the Boston Women's Memorial on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall.
When Ed and Poppy left for their walk on Saturday, it was snowing lightly. A few moments later, it was as if someone had flipped a switch or given a good shake to the Back Bay snow globe.
I love the way Ed used sculpture and the arch of the trees to frame this photo of a woman walking in the snow with her bright red umbrella.
We do live in a beautiful place – beautiful even when it's wet and messy!
