We love living in a city with so many ethnic groups. This is a weekend to enjoy two cultures with different takes on the week.
Here's to the Irish celebration of Saint Patrick's Day on March 17th with a glass of Redbreast Irish Whiskey.
And, here's to the Italian celebration of Saint Joseph's Day on March 19th with Zeppole from Modern Pasty.
Treats like a visit to a great Irish Pub like Sonny's in Adams Village or the Squealing Pig in Mission Hill are available year round. But it is fun to be reminded of the things you like about a culture with a special holiday or festival.
