Sunday Dog, Toby has \u201cthe Look,\u201d but I\u2019m not really sure what that look is. It\u2019s what a critic might say about a successful fashion model, actor, or a best in show winner. It\u2019s that special look that makes you pause and feel as though someone is peering inside your soul. Or, it just might be Toby\u2019s way of saying, \u201cWhat\u2019s that strange looking thing you\u2019re pointing at me?\u201d       <\/p>\n

Actually, he didn\u2019t seem to mind our cameras and was happy to pose\u2013 nice profile! <\/p>\n

At just a year old, this Basset Hound<\/a> plays in spurts but sleeps most of the time\u2013 he \u201cis\u201d still a puppy! His person admits, \u201cHe does bark a lot, but he doesn\u2019t know how to howl like a big boy, yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Toby can be very stubborn, he is a very good boy who loves to play and chase a favorite ball. Bassets need a lot of exercise, you have to "keep them fit and thin or they\u2019ll have really bad back problems.\u201d <\/p>\n

This intriguing little character is already very well socialized\u2013 he\u2019s being raised around a lot of people and other dogs. And, Toby is definitely one of the friendliest pups we\u2019ve ever met, you can tell just by … \u201cthe Look!\u201d<\/p>\n

We met Toby at the MSPCA<\/a> table at a Dog Day event at the Greenway Open Market.<\/a> He was a great ambassador for one of our favorite animal organizations. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
