Maybe it\u2019s just us, but it seems as though there are a lot of puppies in Boston this summer. Then again, in the midst of raising one of our own<\/a>, maybe we\u2019re just noticing more of these little ones. Or, in King\u2019s case, not so little.<\/p>\n

This handsome, four-month-old German Shepherd<\/a> is growing fast and couldn\u2019t wait to greet us, especially our Poppy. <\/p>\n

When we all stopped to exchange sniffs (well, not all of us), King did a \u201chello pee.\u201d Poppy told her new friend that she knows the feeling and, while I couldn\u2019t be sure, seemed to be passing along some advice on the practice.<\/p>\n

King, named in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.<\/a> and to salute a father\u2019s work as a civil rights attorney, seems to be adjusting well to his new surroundings.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a confident, self-assured, almost regal attitude about this guy. Just look at that face! Maybe we should call our Sunday Dog, \u201cThe Now & Future King of Boston Dogs!\u201d Sounds good to us.<\/p>\n
