Every time I walked by this display last week on the steps of Monty's in Provincetown<\/a>, I had to smile. I called these "Happy Gargoyles<\/a>" and thought about the touch of whimsy they would add along a garden path. Since these don't actually act as downspouts, they really should be called "grotesques.<\/a>"<\/p>\n

I also kept seeing, in these faces, some features of people I knew\u2013 people who laughed a lot and had a twinkle in their eye. Do you see someone you recognize in these faces?<\/div>\n
