Artoo, (short for R2-D2), looks nothing like the famous Star Wars droid, but he is a little character in his own right! And, this Chihuahua\/Cairn descendant does have special powers. <\/p>\n

A rescue from L-A, Artoo found a new home while at the Northeast Animal Shelter<\/a>, after his person says she couldn\u2019t stop looking at him! He kept staring at her, and she knew he was for her.<\/p>\n

Artoo is very friendly and already making new buds in Boston. He came right up to our Poppy and whispered something in her ear (hmmm). <\/p>\n

When he approached Greyhound Greer, he couldn\u2019t reach that high and seemed slightly confused.<\/p>\n

In the words of C-3PO, \u201cR2 \u2026 this way looks potentially dangerous!\u201d<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This adorable one-year-old is very sweet and just comes right up and cuddles \u2013 behavior that lovingly describes a \u201cvelcro dog,\u201d he\u2019s found the person he wants and is sticking with her.<\/p>\n

Artoo arrived knowing how to play fetch and is already a good walker \u2013 boy did you land in the right city! <\/p>\n
