This will be a year of welcoming each new month with longtime friends. This cava was a gift from one of the first friends we made after we moved to Boston. He&#39;s also one of the friends who has joined our sparkling resolution to toast each new month with a glass of bubbles.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb8883401b7c94b36f2970b-popup\" onclick=\"window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"P1000991\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54fc42bb8883401b7c94b36f2970b img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb8883401b7c94b36f2970b-500wi\" style=\"width: 500px;\" title=\"P1000991\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our friend discovered Raventos i Blanc de Nit&#0160;at a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bauerwines.com\/\">Bauer Wine &amp; Spirits<\/a> tasting, loved it, and decided it was something we would also love. However, when he placed his order, there was only one bottle left in stock. Being the sweet person he is, he bought the bottle and gave it to us.&#0160;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb8883401b8d2d59e9a970c-popup\" onclick=\"window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401a3fd0cbf03970b-800wi\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54fc42bb8883401b8d2d59e9a970c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb8883401b8d2d59e9a970c-500wi\" style=\"width: 500px;\" title=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401a3fd0cbf03970b-800wi\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonzest.com\/2017\/12\/cuv%C3%A9e-ros%C3%A9-from-laurent-perrier-is-our-choice-for-a-2018-new-years-toast.html\">our New Year&#39;s bottle of a longtime favorite<\/a> so much that we have decided to make 2018 a year of rediscovering some of our favorite sparkling wines from across the years. (It will also help us enjoy the wine gathering dust in our collection.
