Colorful foliage makes the sculptural shapes of the bare elms stand out.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, I had a Twitter converstaion with Jeff from the great <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Autumn leaf color\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Autumn_leaf_color\" rel=\"wikipedia\" target=\"_blank\">fall foliage<\/a> site <a href=\"http:\/\/jeff-foliage.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Jeff Foliage.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He was saddened by the end of his favorite photography season.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;@BostonZest&nbsp;Thanks for the RT Penny. The&nbsp;#fallcolors&nbsp;are running on empty.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>I responded, &#8220;@Foliage_Reports&nbsp;Ah, but the textures of the grasses and sculpture of bare trees are wonderful subjects too.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every season gives me new aspects of the city to photograph.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>Thanks to everyone who hops over to Amazon from here to do their shopping.
