However, we have gathered resources to help you find a place for any kind of New Year&#39;s Eve you&#39;d like.&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>We always recommend&#0160;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamersleysbistro.com\/home\/\" target=\"_self\">Hamersley&#39;s Bistro<\/a>&#0160;as a perfect place to enjoy a meal on a special occasion. It&#39;s been one of the few exceptions to our stay-at-home rule. This year, they&#39;re planning a four-course prix fixe menu with a champagne toast if you&#39;re there at midnight.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone can begin at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opentable.com\" target=\"_blank\">Open Table<\/a>. They maintain a&#0160;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.opentable.com\/promo.aspx?m=7&amp;ref=289&amp;pid=4\" target=\"_blank\">list of special New Year&#39;s celebrations<\/a> at area restaurants.&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>You can put a time into the reservation box on the main page and see what&#39;s available. Remember, many places have special prix fixe menus for occasions like this and some may require a credit card to hold a reservation.<\/p>\n<p>The site&#0160;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonchefs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Chefs<\/a> always posts a listing of its member restaurants that have special plans for New Year&#39;s Eve. Here is their <a href=\"http:\/\/bostonchefs.com\/holiday\/new-years-eve-boston-restaurants\/\" target=\"_self\">New Year&#39;s Eve list.<\/a> And, here&#39;s the list for <a href=\"http:\/\/bostonchefs.com\/holiday\/new-years-day-boston-restaurants\/\" target=\"_self\">New Year&#39;s Day.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And, here are a few suggestions published by Boston&#39;s great food sites last year: We&#39;ll update this section as we spot new information from these sources.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>12.27.12:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/boston.eater.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Eater Boston<\/a> has added its Map of <a href=\"http:\/\/boston.eater.com\/archives\/2012\/12\/27\/what-to-do-on-new-years-eve.php\" target=\"_self\">What to do on New Year&#39;s Eve.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>12.28.12:<\/strong> Grub Street Boston put up their, <a href=\"http:\/\/boston.grubstreet.com\/2012\/12\/grub-guide-new-year-takeout.html\" target=\"_self\">&quot;Grub Guide: Where to Get Dreamy Takeout on New Year&#39;s Eve,&quot;<\/a> some good choices there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are also restaurants that have planned a special New Year&#39;s Eve menu but have built their reputation on high quality food. These are places where you can expect to have a wonderful meal any day of the year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/islandcreekoysterbar.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Island Creek Oyster Bar<\/a> is serving its regular menu and, for that kindness, we&#39;ve put them at the top of this list.&#0160;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/easternstandardboston.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Eastern Standard<\/a>, next door, is doing the same. Regular menu, great wine list, craft cocktails.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/grottorestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Grotto<\/a> on Beacon Hill, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kitchenbostonmass.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Kitchen<\/a> in the South End, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marliave.com\/home\/\" target=\"_self\">Marliave<\/a> downtown all join that list of places sticking with the food you love<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-style: italic;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brasseriejoboston.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Brasserie JO<\/a> has a special menu but alway provides great food in a relaxed atmosphere, and their desserts are a party in themselves.&#0160;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamorra.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Morra<\/a>&#0160;in Brookline \u2013 chef Josh Ziskin says he saves some of his&#0160;most prized dishes just for this evening.
