In this year of old favorites for our Happy New Month toast, we&#39;ll pour from on high with a bottle of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giulianaimports.com\/index.cfm\/fuseaction\/producer.content\/producer_id\/43\">Etxaniz Txakoli Rose.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad38d7e5c200d-popup\" onclick=\"window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401b8d1d7d590970c-800wi\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad38d7e5c200d img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad38d7e5c200d-500wi\" style=\"width: 500px;\" title=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401b8d1d7d590970c-800wi\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a scorching month of August, we&#39;re hoping for a September that&#39;s more typical of a Boston summer. We&#39;ve been hoarding a few bottles of this favorite wine from the Basque region of Spain. This particular producer creates one of our favorites. It&#39;s a nice low 11.5% alcohol by volume and is wonderfully food friendly. Lower alcohol makes for a more refreshing warm weather drink.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad367600d200c-popup\" onclick=\"window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401b7c84de597970b-500wi\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad367600d200c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/bostonzest.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00e54fc42bb88834022ad367600d200c-500wi\" style=\"width: 500px;\" title=\"6a00e54fc42bb8883401b7c84de597970b-500wi\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trying wines from&#0160;different places, made with different grapes, and produced by&#0160;different methods adds spice to our monthly ritual. Since 2007 we have raised a glass of sparkling wine to greet each new month! In 2018 we decided to feature a year of old favorites like this one.
