Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Boston and the MBTA schedules for Memorial Day \u2013 Monday, May 30, 2016.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

City, Town, State, and Federal offices and facilities are closed:<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>This includes Schools, Libraries and the Postal Service (express mail will be delivered). Only emergency<\/span> services are available<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Financial Services:<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>As the British would<\/span> say, this is a Bank Holiday with both Banks and the stock markets in the U.S. closed. Some international markets are open.<\/p>\n

Boston Parking:<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>You don't have to feed the meters on Monday. Other parking rules apply. Street Sweeping:<\/span> The city site says:<\/a> "Daytime street sweeping is suspended on city holidays<\/a>, but nighttime sweeping schedules remain in effect. Constituents are advised to call 311 for exact details."<\/p>\n
