  • Venerable European Beech Tree Has Its Moment in the Sun

    Yesterday morning a slice of sunlight fell on this venerable European Beech tree in the Boston Public Garden along Arlington Street.

     Today in Boston: We keep hearing that people miss our cover photos that ran for years in the Back Bay Sun. That assignment was to provide a photo that showed what the week was like in the neighborhood.   • The Freedom Trail: Our Patriots’ Day Friday Link

    Have you ever walked The Freedom Trail? I know that I walked parts of it years ago, but I've never walked the entire length. If you're looking for a nice, long tramp some lovely spring weekend, follow the red line and explore that route that brings visitors to Boston.
