    Say hello to Bella, a Goldendoodle who’s a little Golden Retriever, a little Poodle, and a whole lotta Puppy!

    As Sunday Dogs go, this seven month old has enough energy to power the entire city of Boston. Our Poppy, who’s not quite two, must be showing her age.

    She seemed content to watch, no matter how much Bella tried to get her to join in the fun.

    Goldendoodles are famous for being smart, friendly, affectionate, and full of energy! What more could anyone ask?

  • Rocky Redux, a Sunday Dog Favorite!

    We were returning from an early afternoon walk yesterday, when we looked up to see an old friend, Rocky! This frisky little guy looked just as handsome as the day he starred on Sunday Dog almost two years ago.

     

    As the first flakes of the latest winter storm began to fall, Rocky told us he was looking forward to the snow because he gets to wear his boots. But, besides the obvious salt protection they provide, he seems to like the way they look and feel.

     

    We weren’t surprised, since he is an exceptionally smart and stylish terrier. Need more proof? Take a look at: Sunday Dog Rocky Is Show-Dog Cute!

  • Poppy Meets a Celebrity Snowman

    Poppy is unusual for a Westie because she can be somewhat shy. So meeting Boston’s latest celebrity was a bit of a challenge for her.

    Ed reassured Poppy that the giant snowman on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall was friendly, but she was careful in her approach and more comfortable with his tiny friend.

    If he hadn’t beem so tall, our vegetable loving pup might have sniffed out that carrot hiding under his scarf. Then, she would’ve joined small snow critter on his side and tried to climb to the prize.

    This big guy and a scattering of other snow people that appeared after Mother Nature provided area artists with the perfect snow sculpting material.

    This smiling, caped superhero (yes, he was wearing a cape) was surrounded by paparazzi each time we passed and quickly became the talk of twitter and other social media sites. Locals and tourists alike stopped to take a photo with him.

  • Sunday Dogs Ty and Buster Have a Great Adventure with Go Pet Friendly

    Meet Ty and Buster! These are two hard working dogs.

    Over at Go Pet Friendly, they have the job of sniffing out pet friendly places and making it easier for other critters who want to travel with their people.

    This is Buster who adopted the family after meeting them on the streets of Philadelphia.

    And, here's Ty who had already trained this pair of humans and is the deep thinker of the duo.

    These guys live full time in a cool RV and have traveled more than 50,000 miles putting their paws of approval on places all over the country and then adding those locations to the Go Pet Friendly website.

    Recently, Amy made a quick trip to Boston where she and Penny were able to meet up in person after much internet interaction.

    Poppy can't wait until their next New England visit so she can meet the pups in person and thank them for all the places she may be going because they have scratched out a path.
