  • Red Leaf: Photo of the Week

    This leaf, caught in the grate over a utility well, was the subject of a bunch of photos we took this week. Here's one of our favorites!  

    The autumn colors en masse on the trees draw eyes and our lenses. But, sometimes a single leaf can be the focus of our attention.

    Over the years, the sculpture of Phillis Wheatley on the Boston Women's Memorial has recieved gifts ranging from lottery tickets and pennies to teddy bears and sweaters. Last week someone left a bouquet of silk flowers in fall colors.

    Lucy Stone and Abigail Adams also have tokens left by admireres but it is Lucy who receives the most.

    And, yes this was in a legal off-leash place in Provincetown.
