    Earlier this year, Matt Conti took over the site North End Boston. It is the perfect companion for his original site, North End Waterfront. Between the two sites, you can keep up with the latest news about this important Boston neighborhood and find the resources, places, and sites you want.

    North End Boston offers a set of resources for those interested in the North End as a place to visit or live. It can be a great site to send to anyone who is coming to Boston as a visitor or to find new places to go, things to see, and dining options in the North End.

    North End Waterfront is the site for news, information, and community conversation about the neighborhood. As large, mainstream media covers less and less local news, sites like this become more and more valuable to me. 

    Keep up the good work Matt! And, please keep dropping in those great North End Waterfront puzzles from time to time. I appreciate a few minutes of fun every now and them.

    See It All is the place to go if you'd like some insight into the current exhibitions on offer in the Boston area. We are fortunate to have so much choice but deciding which to see and learning a bit about the ones we put on our calendars can be daunting. 

    And, in the case of smaller museums and organizations, finding out about something like the current Concord Museum's The Best Workman in the Shop show about clockmaker William Monroe can be difficult.

    By selecting and concentrating on this local topic, See It All makes it easier for all of us to enjoy these temporary opportunities.

    Each post gives you the basics including links, opinion, and the kind of insights and tips a friend might mention in a casual conversation about what they did last weekend.

    This photo of the Collins Memorial on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall shows the seasonal transition. Colorful foliage makes the sculptural shapes of the bare elms stand out.

    Last week, I had a Twitter converstaion with Jeff from the great fall foliage site Jeff Foliage.

    He was saddened by the end of his favorite photography season.

    • I responded, “@Foliage_Reports Ah, but the textures of the grasses and sculpture of bare trees are wonderful subjects too.”

    Every season gives me new aspects of the city to photograph.
